Bruce Harpster, M.A., CCC-SLP holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a New Jersey-licensed speech-language pathologist. He is also a member of the New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Mr. Harpster taught voice, speech and text analysis for ten years at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City before becoming a speech-language pathologist (SLP). As an SLP, he was on staff at The Cerebral Palsy Association of Middlesex County—Lakeview School and at Roosevelt Hospital in Edison, New Jersey. He is currently employed by the Woodbridge, New Jersey Board of Education and is on staff at The Matthew Jago School in Woodbridge. Mr. Harpster is a certified provider of the Compton P-ESL accent-modification program, is on staff with Select Rehabilitation in Hazlet, NJ, and maintains his own private practice in Iselin, serving Central New Jersey. He is also an adjunct instructor at the Program in American Language Studies, Rutgers University. Mr. Harpster holds an A.A.S. in Theatre from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, a B.A. in Linguistics from Rutgers and an M.A. in Communication Disorders from Kean University.
